All it took was about 30 hours, but I am now down to 1 assignment Kappa

until tomorrow
Sadly true
my prof will assign us another assignment when I hand in the one that took me 30 hours
30 hour assignments should not be weekly
thats stupid
It is not supposed to be weekly
he said 1.5-2 weeks
the last 2 were weekly
thats still stupid
To be fair, 5 of those hours are because I am retarded
and when taking a derivative I took 1/constants because I cannot distinguish between a derivative and an integral
I don't recall ever having as much of a continuous load as you do Pika
There'd be hellish weeks for sure
But you seem to constantly just have a memeworthy amount of work
Engineers get hell weeks, we get a continuous grind in the physics faculty
try hell semesters pika
that so far is this semester
I am in a constant state of having 4-5 assignments due at all times
I pulled more all-nighters for History then I ever did for engineering
i once had to do an entire 3 week team project in a single night by myself
luckily i'm brilliant KappaWoo
It seems my existence is destined to either have a shit scheduel or a shit workload. schedule was ass last term but I had so much free time
this term is my best schedule and my worst workload
living near campus helps make schedules not matter
idk leg, 8:30am-5:30pm is bad regardless
thats basically my work schedule
Yeah, so I was on your work schedule except I had to pay to do it Kappa
i never had a schedule that bad though
worst was maybe 8:30 to 3
I think the worst was something similar Leg 8-4, Freshman year
My worst individual day was like 8:30am to 7:20pm
Before I learned how to schedule my classes
actualaly no, worst was the semester i had multiple classes after 5pm and all of my classes were on MWF
so 14 hour days 3 days a week
yeah those are fun
I never count labs as "school" though
not labs, classes
>needing to take labs
How'd you swing that many late classes?
masters level computer engineering
this was senior year
the teacher was an industry guy so i guess he could only teach in the evenings
Ah I see, my masters classes were always morning, with the intention being that you could go work/teach afterwards
Worst I heard about was one prof at my uni last term taught 3 of the courses that 3rd year physics students usually take at the same time, and put all 3 as 3 hour timeslots back to back to back on wensday
Late classes were always non-traditional student classes, or labs in my experience
they were 3 hour long classes
they sucked i never went
3 hour lectures are dumb
so some people had 9 hours of lectures with the same prof in a row
I had one, once, that I NEVER went to
pika i probably skipped 40% of my undergrad lectures
I have skipped 0%
I have been to every single one
I skipped more year-by-year
I missed like 1 or 2 total my Freshman year
i kept decent grades and was able to focus on my research
And by senior year, I'd have courses I'd show up to once
there was one course i onyl showed up the first class and never studied for the exams
I like going to lectures personally
still got Bs or higher
I like going to good lectures
Why would you skip classes
I like going to bad lectures to laugh about how bad it was with the others in my program
because grades are what matter and research is more interesting
3-hour lecture blocks Gent
That's why
I have a 3 hour one this semester
learning how to do vector arithmetic literally 3 times in the same day
My... Junior year I think
I had two identical DSP classes
Same students took both
thats retarded
None of us figured out the difference by the end of the semester
i skipped a ton of DSP lectures because i learned that material instantly and it actually was a waste of time for me to go
the professor actually asked me to do research for her
I liked some of the projects we got
(whats dsp)
digital signal processing
Digital signal processing
