Honestly, in normal minecraft, swords and axes are pretty balanced. Axes lower swing makes it easier to counter them via shields. Swords can technically do more DPS too. In McMMO they're vastly different. Swords do bleed and can counter back damage, giving a much more skillful playstyle focused on evasion and good plays. While axes are focused on raw damage, including skills like "more damage to armored foes" "better crits" "more damage every 50 levels up to level 200" "chance for greater impact" and an aoe special attack. While axe may be more superior, you have to realize that it still carries the vanilla minecraft restrictions of shields. Also that it relies on luck a lot more.

None of this matters because Archery is OP in McMMO, it has achance to make you look upwards, it can do shit tons of damage, but not oneshot, and give any bow infinity.

sand can drop glowstone and quartz at high excavation levels in mcmmo

so i would just farm sand for days and sell it

Any game mode with an economy will mean it's almost always much easier to gain items through trade than by actually farming/mining

everything was through actual people, or NPCs in town who used a special currency

ALSO what i oved about that server

there was a huge spawn, lots of hidden villagers

who had items on them with crazy enchantments
