o1s and o6s
ok ok hold your horses
O1S being a striking dummy was a good thing for people who were getting use to the game
that's not how that works

you gotta learn you rotation and shit
i use to do 100 dps now i do 3k
a9s may have been easy, but it still wasn't a striking dummy because it's savage
the first raid tier did it right and got me into a constant state of improvment
o1s was
O1S being a striking dummy probably was done because of how hard A1S was
o1s was more of a striking dummy than the other NORMAL MODE fights
that's poor design
it's wasn't really a striking dummy though
there was a lot of moving around
also a1s wasn't difficult, that's not what stopped people
i think your just a hardcore raider who only wants ultimate
it stopped insanely ultra casual people who did like 500dps, but apart from that it wasn't
just like how i don't want time wasted on blue mage
because it's too casual

also I'm definitely not someone who only wants ultimate karp, I just wan't them to design content that isn't copied over mechanics from older fights or a waste of development time
I've still done everything this expansion with the exception of Pagos and onwards
pyros is pretty good very easy to level tbh
oh also, it's one of the few popular sub-based mmos on the market, it's fucking laughable that they only have ONE us datacenter
no eastcoast servers at all
and on top of that basically all they do for new content is copy mechanics from old fights or try to introduce gameplay aspects of other games into certain specific thing that people don't end up spending time on
or like with eureka, give us content that has quality equal to something you'd find in a f2p kmmo, not a sub-based one

Also US has 2 datacenters
EU has 1

they have one server
the datacenters are ONLY separated because they refuse to upgrade hardware and their old stuff wouldn't be able to handle it being the same
all US servers are in the exact same location on the west coast
the new data center will literally just be a new machine in the same building
same with EU
on top of that they've introduced cross-world stuff in SB, so people found friends on other servers
but then they go "haha now you won't be able to play with them anymore because we're stupid and are splitting the servers across more data centers"
Just because square is too cheap to spend money on proper server maintenance
or as I said, even investing in east coast servers for, you know, the second largest sub-based mmo on the entire market

It's disappointing to see honestly, ARR was an amazing reboot of a dying game born off poor decisions

HW was an incredible expansion with MUCH improved story writing and direction
or whatever the wc3 quote is
and gordias might have been a rough start for raiding in the expansion since it was definitely overtuned, but midas and creator was incredible
i doubt you'll ever see midas and creator ever again

and then SB comes along and trashes the improved story direction and writing because they tried to fit too much into it and ended up without substance
as for raids, deltascape was promising, at least o3s/o4s, but then the other tiers came along like "lol copy paste old ideas"
o1s might have been terribly designed and basically just a normal mode fight, but at least it had meme potential
