- Loose, poorly put together story: they tried to cram WAY too much into the leveling experience and it's pretty hard to stay attached to anything when you pass the areas in a couple quests
- Lazy raid design where they literally just copied the first tiers ideas onto the next two, only fights that have stood out in savage were o3s and o11s
- Apart from Tsuku all the trials have been rehashed mechanics with "insert minigame gimick transition"

honestly the only thing I think they absolutely nailed is Ultimate
Both fights were sick
i don't think the raid design was done because of laziness
i think it was to keep things consistent
oh and don't forget eureka
fucking lmao
eureka was great
currently ready for hyrdos
that's objectively wrong and you can look up literally millions of descriptions as to why
well i enjoyed it
it's poorly designed content for the type of game
that doesn't make it good
but this raid set was pretty good in my opinion except for god dam ghost train and also midgarsommr a bit
Also raid design is definitely shit, they're just glorified trials
with the same gimmick for the final boss every tier
isn't everything just a glorified boss fight
it's laughable
First tier it was fine, Neo was really cool
there is nothing wrong with having a checkpoint
but repeating the entire format twice was insanely lazy
into a phase transition
no it's not
it's a theme to this raid tier is a 2 boss fights
with a checkpoint inbetween
exdeath into neo
that's exactly what I'm saying
kefka then god keka
it's the same thing
what's wrong with a theme
there's no substance
it's cool
the savage exclusive content makes it feels special and epic
except savage isn't special anymore
it's not even midcore content
idk man
not many people get to it
are you kidding me
that's just not true
do you know how many people suck at ff14
because there's a lot
I killed ultimate
I know people suck
you killed ultimate o.o
but compared to actual raid tiers SB has been all baby shit
i haven't really had time to work on it much but i've gotten thourgh most of garuda...
i personally disagree
if you do ultimate
your a hardcore player
since very few people like actual tens of thousands have cleared it
we've had two fights this expansion that were basically glorified striking dummies
if that's not shit in itself
o1s and o6s
ok ok hold your horses
O1S being a striking dummy was a good thing for people who were getting use to the game
that's not how that works
yes it is
you gotta learn you rotation and shit
i use to do 100 dps now i do 3k
a9s may have been easy, but it still wasn't a striking dummy because it's savage
the first raid tier did it right and got me into a constant state of improvment
o1s was
O1S being a striking dummy probably was done because of how hard A1S was
o1s was more of a striking dummy than the other NORMAL MODE fights
that's poor design
it's wasn't really a striking dummy though
there was a lot of moving around
also a1s wasn't difficult, that's not what stopped people
i think your just a hardcore raider who only wants ultimate
it stopped insanely ultra casual people who did like 500dps, but apart from that it wasn't
just like how i don't want time wasted on blue mage
because it's too casual
Blue mage is a waste of development time
ikr
we should of gotten geomancer instead
just like pagos was
lmfao
