>watching American football
i watch the premier league ill have you know
arsenal is havin a rough year
visit university of iowa Kapap
I can't even meme other Iowa schools
I only know the two
>not picking your uni purely based off of proximity
Not declining to apply to a university strictly out of proximity
you live close to a really nice school
I'd NEVER go to a school that close to home
Getting away was a big part of picking a college
yeah i agree with slayer
i live like right next to yale
me too
I like my family so can't relate
go to csu
ive literally worked with yale professors and a bunch of my friends parents are yale professors
Colorado state
but fuck going to yale
But Leg, CSU has a bad football team
i dont wanna be a 15 minute drive from my childhood home
wait leg you live next to yale?
have you looked at Missouri S&T?
no i live in Illinois
Have you considered the university of waterloo Kappa
Perks are you can hang out with me
That's about it
my list is cmu, columbia, uconn, cornell, emory, umichigan, northeastern, upenn, urochester, tufts, wash u st louis
Have you considered ETH Zurich Kappa
top 3 so far are cornell and then umich and wash u are kinda tied
havent visited columbia
I'm not going to lambast you too much for just going for the money
But why not go a route guaranteed to make more if that was the case
Pre-med, or one of the really profitable engineering disciplines
if you are able to be in Missouri look at S&T
i mean there arent a ton of better options than engineering
i dont wanna go premed
chem e and comp sci are fairly profitable engineering disciplines, no?
petroleum engineering is the most profitable
I mean they are, but you can look at average salaries
Petroleum engineering and mining engineering are always top two by a lot
Computer engr is fairly high too
Colorado School of Mines then
Them, West Virginia, and Texas A&M
I think those are the big three
S&T has both mining and petrol
i have a friend going to A&M
actually idk if he got in but i know its one of his top choices, texas A&M that is
hes going nuclear engineering tho i think
i keep saying s&t the it was my second choice
I'm just saying, be realistic about your salary
Unless you fuck off to California a lot of entry level shit might be lower than you envision
idk if ill go comp sci or comp e but if i have the time im at least gonna minor if not major in one
i know entry level shit is lower yeah
Comp sci and comp engr are really different
at Iowa you get cs minor for free with ce
but also im hoping that i can make decent connections if i go to umich or cornell
do research anywhere and you'll make connections
umich has the largest alumni connection thing
Or just move to DC and Spooky will hire you
or one of hte largest
i already have a sister living in DC
I fucked it up
Disregard
c/w/h
So, is this one of those things that I should go try to bang your sis
Or would you caution me away
if she's living alone she's probably too old for you
idk, she could be in college/ grad school
American, George Washington, George Mason, Georgetown
shes on her last schooling year of grad school
next year she has her internship thing that you have to do that i forget the name of
then she gets her doctorate
also she has a boyfriend
>implying I couldn't steal her away
I'm hurt
mandatory internship for grad school? lame
just write a 120 page thesis
Part of the journey is the end. https://t.co/9RvRQUxI3o
anyone want a fun problem?
