used to be schools only
So, I remember using a lot of Blackboard and Blackboard spin-off sites
I'm not sure why Google's is better yet, other than it looks slicker
it was different when i was in school
it seems they've changed it
a lot of schools use google classroom or canvas now

MY school used google for EVERYTHING

I've found that when schools put in more robust web portals, some teachers use it as a crutch to kind of give up teaching
Lessons become virtual scavenger hunts, videos, and other worthless shit

Some schools really push tech, and for some subjects, that's the only way to work shit in
If a class needs to justify having bought computers, you're going to be doing a lot of web quests
in highschool
it was more like some teachers just prefered being able to do quizes on google forms
because they could autograde it
See, I've messed with Google forms before for that purpose
