Finals in the states are the worst things. They're these huge standardized tests that are like worth half your grade, and the schools don't care about the individual and whatever they're good or bad at

Our big end-of-year standardized tests were just for schools to get/lose funding You could be held back if you didn't try and scored stupid low But if people actually scored low but tried, they'd let you retake it

If I did not have a ton of sciences/maths to take I would have taken more history courses

World history was my best subject but they stopped teaching it because clearly america's 300 year history was more important

The problem we had was that most people finished the important history classes before they got all their critical thinking skills

So HS history was all boring shit (to most people)
