Fuck people who make videos that just say "Hey, we're live on Twitch"

if you want to advertise on YouTube, do it by streaming on YouTube

that's what things like twitter are for

telling your audience you're streaming

I think as a counter, while annoucing daily streams is shitty and youtube is in the right, if a Big event is happening I can appriciate a youtube announcement video, but it should not just be a "big event live now" but a video a couple days in advance

i've only ever seen tubers do the quick announcement videos right before the livestream

which is absolutely useless

yeah, it is a sign of a youtuber trying to jump ship but not being able to move his auidience effectively
