its probably one of the easier ones to learn

All of those games work with cracked MP though, which is a plus

EUIV is the most forgiving to learn

stellaris is more expensive than HoI4

It feels bad as a new player to look at a massive paywall in front of a game And for old players it sucks because you're on this treadmill to continue to pay them money, lest you fall too far behind

Cities:Skylines has that same problem

On top of a $30 game

waiting for a sale helps

but

its still bad

They don't do good sales anymore

But once you get up to date, you're on a treadmill

You have a couple months to play your game before the next pack comes out

Then you either have to fork over $20, or your game is incomplete again

Miss a couple of releases, suddenly you're $60 behind

I miss the good old days of proper expantions

Witcher 3 Expansions were good

Sure there are other games which have good ones as well

But all the dlcs for Paradox are so integral to the base game (music aside)
