a whole week for orientation?
i got like 2 days
classes run during the second half of orientation week still
just the first couple days have no classes
my orientation was in the summer
our orientation is literally just before
school usually starts on a thursday
so the first 3 days of the week are orientations without classes

First day on campus was Thursday or Friday, and classes started Monday
i had a welcome weekend, but orientation was during the summer

Maybe I'm forgetting, but what do you even do for orientation?
I know for undergrad they threw a big concert/rave every semester
But I don't remember anything...productive getting done
for orientation we learned school policies, curriculums, picked classes and explored campus

there were some tours yes
I mean, I thought you did most of that when you toured campus as a high schooler
for the welcome weekend we took a class picture on the football field and had a block party with free food
it was friday and saturday
we did tours and group teambuilding exercises
yep, team building with people i never met again
I did not go after the first couple days because I quickly realized it was a waste of time
I had fun at mine, as best as I can remember
I know I snuck in and did them again as a sophomore/junior
there was only like, 1 mathphys person and I have never seen them again
so I think they dropped
i was bored out of my mind but i had to do it so i could register for classes
everyone else was buisness science
I know I could look it up, but does UWaterloo have a good graduation rate?
I know it's a selective school, so I imagine it does
