Went to a HS in the low-income housing neighbourhood, because zoning

same but we have IB and don't interact with the poor people at all

We had a class of ~30 white IB overachievers

which i appreciate

And then a few hundred blacks

people come here from half an hour away for the ib program

my highschool had lots of black people and what you would call "southern virginians" i guess

hell i moved for the ib program

Southern Virginia is nice though Well, maybe not Richmond

i wish i lived in richmond

that would of been cool

my high school was 55% hispanic with a large amount of them being poor, but i didn't notice anything too crazy

ib program's a lot of work but it basically automatically gets me into most UCs and that's where i want to go so

then i could be in some REALLY bad schools

i don't mind it

there was a lot of weed circulating my school which im pretty sure is normal

yeah, it happens here too

i just don't smoke

Weed at my school got so bad that cops had to come in with dogs and search every locker

there was lots of weed at my school- but literally no one cared

Rich school near us was the heroin den

i wish a school shooting happened at my school just so i could say i was in one

when the cops raided my school they found three guns in one kids locker

I almost got to experience it

i dont remember anyone killing themselves, some disapeared without a trace but

im pretty sure they just moved

to the farm?

A weird number of kids from my HS graduating class have died

I know some is normal, especially going off to college and all that

there's a lot of suicide here

Unless you palce an unhealthy amount of self-worth into where you go to college, it doesn't matter

it's all name recognition in IB

and like I said, i do genuinely enjoy math, at least

math can be relaxing

so i'm okay with my life up to this point

I enjoyed math up until I hit calculus

Got into enough to have choice, didn't give a shit about name or prestige

I applied to 2 schools 1 for the meme

i applied to two schools, one for continuing track

i kinda regret wasting my life up to this point already, so i don't want to waste much more of it
