i actually kinda feel bad for him a little bit
I hate people like this
but then i remember hes lied to us for years and i dont
Pika, he can't send it back any other way
So it's "I'm paying everyone back who contacts me"
I mean, fair enough
but still
I guess
that will probably only end up being, eh 10k
What about the people who've moved on though
overall
that is how many people I can see taking this up at most
thats not actually that much of a cost to him
Also fuck astora
You're right though if not enough people take him up on it, this exercise will not ease his conscience
With all this in mind, I think this entire thing will solve nothing and Rob will spiral further into depression
"you always want to better yourself" lies to entire fanbase
If Rob has someone to send $500 a month for a few years he'll feel better
Most of Rob's community probably doesn't even know what U Quest was
And will tell Rob "it's not your fault"
And rob will only feel guiltier
yeah, if 10k want money back, that is 20 months
I don't know where people like Astora come from
I don't have a word to describe that type of personality, but I can't think of anything I hate more than it
Astora reminds me of myself when I was younger but amplified
I have literally never seen anything astoria has ever said that did not erk me
I like how everyone is telling him not to give them their money back when legally he is not allowed to keep any of it
Astora probably thinks that what he's doing is going to win him brownie points with Rob
He is though
Kickstarter is donations I think
No he is not. He was given the money to produce a game they would get. He failed to do so, and has to give it back
Kickstarter is a project backing service
They didn't buy a product
Just saw robs newest video
e.e
Yeah, we have been discussing
They paid someone so he could make his project and reward them for helping him out
Was the kickstarter
On the setting where you have to return the money if the project isnt completed
Or if it fails the owner keeps the monmey
The former didn't exist back in 2012
I'm pretty sure that as long as you tried to do the project you aren't legally forced to pay back
Even if it wasn't, I am sure you can waive your rights to be refunded dolfgan
It all depends on that
And
More often than not the controversy ruins the person anyways
so he has to offer, they do not need to accept
I dont think kickstarter can actually force him to repay a thing
And most people who bought into it
Definitely don't watch rob anymore
If someone could prove it was willful, I am sure they could sue for a scam. But failure is not the same a scam
That's how it works? I see
And yeah that
I think people realized they lost their money a long time ago
I can't be the only one here who was around back then and backed it
and the fact that he is offering money back gives him protection against it being a scam
I started watching Rob mid 2013
I was watching rob back then
But didnt back it
Thankfully
someone actually paid the 10k one
Yep, he got his reward though
Rob flew out to visit him
Yeah they made the pirate class right?
please tell me that was not you spooky
Oh it was a race
um, we know who it was Pika
who was it
Right the turtle race yeah?
They wrote a news article about it
Oh damn
I feel bad for that guy
If that man wanted money back, that would take 20 months for Rob to replay him
lol that says race the other thing says class
I'd love it if someone who pissed Rob off in the past (purposefully or not) came back for the money
