mine isn't
hard drives get bigger really fast and the price goes down really fast
devs are making bigger file size products sense they dont Have to optimise really anymore
he could just get a 1tb ssd
thats probably enough sense he seems to use little memory
what you want is a 250gb ssd and a 2tb main drive
you don't need a tiny ssd anymore
they are pretty cheap now
but big ones are expensive
1tb is under 300
500gb is 150
While I am willing to spend a lot, I would rather not
and you dont need it...
if it is unneeded
if he gets a big ssd he won't ened a hard drive
$300 vs $125
at the ery least get a small one for your os to be on
its so nice
120gb for os and programs
small onces are less cost effective than big ones
2tb for steam library and memes
Fucking
they are $50 vs 300
I need like, 200gbs for that
at most
alright 500gb ssd
not even
FailFish
for future proofing
he can add a 4tb hd when he runs out of space in 3 years
tbh you dont need it
i have literally every steam game i have installed
the best way to future proof is to make it upgradable
You people are loosing me fast
because i hate they greyed out lines
I ran out of space for steam on my 2tb hd
reggie
and im at like 1.1tb
im at 3tb
you can view installed games only
shush you
I am at 350 gbs used
on my entire pc
I am fine
I do not need 3tbs
or even 1tb
im assuming that will double over the next 4 years
unlikely
so the safe way to do it
alrigth even then
get a 500gb ssd
the issue pika
and if that runs out buy a hard drive
is that you wont find a high end system with less than a 1tb drive anyway
so fuck you
Kappa
thats a fair point, I forgot he wasn't building it himself
okay, so like
between my on board and my external I have used 2.21 TB
if I just grab a fucking 1tb data hard drive, for 45 dollars on this website builder thing
will that fix this arguement
or is that a different thing
NotLikeThis why does the harddrive tell me its rotations per minute
How is this useful information
i mean my point on newer games: Age of Empires 2 "HD" (it's barely an hd anything) is 4.63 gigs. the original version was less that 1
my point is that you use so little data that you don't even need one
you could just get a slightly larger ssd
Worst comes to worse, I do not have games I do not play installed
and thats not even with all the new expantions
is there any differnce to these things other than storage size
the first one is probably fine
however if you need more than 500gb of memory you would need to put in a hard drive
Okay, there we go
but that won't be an issue for a few years
can you just plug in externam hard drives?
should
