I literally just want something that will be good enough for like 4 years, and than usable but subpar for like 2+ more
I put mine together on a website and had them ship me the thing pre pieced together
what website
iBUYPOWER Custom Gaming PC
Custom Gaming PC - 10 years of award-winning Custom Gaming Computers & gaming laptops custom-built for PC gamers. Build the best Gaming PC at iBUYPOWER
www.ibuypower.comThis site is definatly very esports in design
But it does what it needs to so it was a good choice
yeah the gaming pc makers tend to use that aesthetic
I needed a thing that could play, record and render at the same time
and that's what I've got
and it's pretty nice
https://www.ibuypower.com/Site/Computer/Desktops so like, looking at these, is there anything you would recomend me looking into
Desktops: iBUYPOWER® Gaming PC
Custom Gaming PC - 10 years of award-winning Custom Gaming Computers & gaming laptops custom-built for PC gamers. Build the best Gaming PC at iBUYPOWER
www.ibuypower.comI bought a cyberpower pc
when i upgraded earlyer this year
Filter for nvidia because AMD has been giving my friend problems with games
amd has only been solid for budget buying for a while. at least from what I've seen
AMD seems to have issues with Open GL
from what I can tell
So filter for nvidia
personally I'd also go intel for processor
intel is more of the premium brand really
so it depends on how much you want to spend
How much do you wanna spend pika
I'd say that with nvidia also
Okay, so when I filter all these things
all those pcs on that site look to be under pikas limit
I am shown 5 things
for tonight i have plan to do everything at once
these 5?
Yep
How much you want to spend
Like I said
those are all overpriced
I was fine with going up to 2500
I just want something that will last
Go with the free shipping one
what is the goal of the computer?
something better than his dumpster fire
last 4 years being able to play most/all of the new games that come out if I want to, and then hopefully last 2+ years longer as a subpar pc that is still good
any of them from what I can tell
I am currently running a 6 year old alienware laptop, so anything is better than my dumpster fire at this point
alright well if you get a 1080 that should be fine for a long time
ye, that site doesnt seem to be selling 1080s
None of the listen have 1080 so you have to customize?
I mean way cheaper to build it yourself
and its pretty easy
its like legos for adults
I am incompetent with that shit
which is why I want prebuilt, Rather have the security of not fucking it up
customize has 1080s
I went in to the very last one in the listing
I am looking at the revolt atm
1080s are better than mine and I can run everything I have tried to run
1080 can do 4k at 60
what is preformance tuning protection?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
4k is not needed
But I mean, knowing it can run 4k is cool
right but its an example of how strong it is
any interest in VR?
Which revolt
revolt 2 pro
I have no interest in VR until it gets better
ok that was my next question
if it can run vr and or 4k you know it'll last a while
so like, 2-3 VR system generations down the line
the 1080 might be able to handle the next generation of VR
rip pikachus vr hentai Kappa
VR and 4k are non issues
depends how long they wait
do you play strategy games?
I play games in most genres
I assume liquid cooling is better?
well, the are all liquid
liquid is etter as long as it doesn't break
