Progression is the worst part of terraria

bopit get a switch, spla2n and a capture card

like you go caving for ores, but that isn't too grindy

grinding to get good gear

Terraria is Trash in general

and you usually don't need to kill a boss more than 3 times or so

Terraria used to be alright in the early days. But ever big update made it slightly worse

if you are on hardmode

If I wanted a progression based minecraft, I would play starbound, if I wanted a freeroam based minecraft, I would play minecraft

terraria is the lesser of both world

cause from what I have seen it looks easy

Most of the time it is fine, it has its moments

would not recomend going to the final area at the start of the game

and the only difficulty comes with damage and hp scaling

lynels are like the only difficult part that I have seen

lightning boss is hardest ganon fight

and the camel's boss

although I did see someone kick its ass no problem

that was after quite a bit of practice though

if you know how to counter the game is easy

when you have to learn as you fight

the hardest normal enemies are ice enemies because you are pretty much 1-shot if you get hit while frozen

Immunity to being frozen is a godsend

you can get immunity to everything if you upgrade your gear enough

i gave up on that because theres no point anymore

i maxed out the secret gear and a couple other ones

But yeah, while BotW is not really hard, it has its moments bopit

And is more fun than terraria by a longshot

it's a nice chill game

getting heart containers

getting health and stamina ups

two handed weapons absolutely shit on bosses

getting stamina bars

stamina is the most satisfying of the two

maxing out the climbing gear

yeah that dosen't really seem like much progression though

maxing out the swimming gear

It has less progression than terraira overall, it is just handled better

the gear upgrading looks grindy and annoying to do
