i finally went and played more dark souls 2
i actually made quiet some progress lol
weak
upgraded my current sword and bought 2 pieces of armor
and made pretty good progress into the first area
if i play some more tomorrow i'll probably make it to the first boss

once you clear the "dungeon"s and get 10+ hearts you are basically invinsible

i haven't had a game over since before the third dungeon i attempted
i've also played for multiple hours straight on 1/4 of 1 heart
thats more combat skill, but i didn't attempt any of the elite enemies during that time
But yeah nova really sucked at dark souls 2 since he never beat the really slow and simple first boss
karp i figured out that you have to fight all of the bosses you didn't clear the dungeons for before you get to fight ganon, if you try to rush the final boss fight
