I just unlocked a level 42 side quest in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE at level 30

after every single one before that was level 21 or lower

the first hard thing in this game on hard mode

a boss that one shots you because you're 11 levels underleveled

yup, being 11 levels under means you die in hard mode

I mean that makes sense but being underleveled being your very first challenge in hard mode doesn't make it sound that hard

i think i'm actually overleveled and that allowed me to unlock this side quest early

i unlocked the arena, which is a great grinding spot and completeing it unlocks really good armors so i finished the easiest level

apparently the meetup in No Man's Sky didn't work because the developers didn't think it would happen the first day and hadn't made the servers prepared for it, on top of how many people were overloading them

I really need to see what that talent looks like

its because they the get the amount of servers they expect to need after the hype dies

that's a shitty excuse to be honest, don't release the game if it's not finished

no i don't because i have literally no idea how it works, and millions of other people also don't. all of those people feel lied to and will hate the developers for it

right now i'm guessing most of the game is done client side with server handshaking to prevent cheating and to have synced planets between players would require everything to be done server side

so i'm guessing the server part, right now, is the planet naming and stuff like that

i don't know much more that you can do in the game

it seems like a really expansive game in terms of what you can do, they just haven't fully implemented the player interaction

it's a pretty important implementation to leave out though

anyway i'll wait to see if things get better

because it's barely started

so i can understand

i wouldn't go that far

multiplayer isn't necessary this early in the game
