so the girls baseball anime starts with a flashback to the pitcher teaching herself how to throw a curveball as a 5 year old

I was a pitcher and not allowed to throw curveballs so I didn't mess up my arm as a kid

kids also suck at pitching

that's when baseball stopped being fun

when they got rid of the pitching machines

I never had pitching machines in games

it was either tees or kids pitching

I had 2-3 years of teeball, 2 of machines, 1 of "kid pitch" with coach assistance, and 1 of pure kid pitch

That last year I couldn't have quit fast enough

I was pulled out of baseball despite being decent because my family started going on a yearly vacation during playoff season

and I say years, I mean seasons, so Spring/Fall

there might have been more I think, I played for a while

maybe they were years

I hated getting hit by balls

and I hated wearing cups

so that made for a bad combo

i got hit by a linedrive in my thigh while playing 3rd base

i hated catcher because of the crouching

Sorry I'm late, but when I saw that Kakushigoto wasn't going to be animated by Shaft, I was legit disappointed. Somehow. My average rating of Shaft shows is actually pretty low, though, I guess that's mostly because of the story and not the animation.
