multiple anime projects
mangas
tie-in events at racetracks and casinos
and it's been on life support for 2 years, because the project managers behind the franchise are retarded
the most inept motherfuckers imaginable
And now all the horses are dead
When the franchise started, there were like 2-3 dead on this chart
Horses live ~8 years
start racing for real at 2, 3 is their big year, and by 4 they're the old horse on the track
then they get jerked off on farms for the remainder of their lives
ooh dungeons and slimes
I know
I hate it
FGO is too big

I've been thinking
I think Maple's real-world body might be the cutest of all the VRMMO anime out there
shame that the show isnt good
all the SAO girls are frumpy or are sluts
Accel World's are generic
Log Horizon's are purposefully ugly
GGO's are Christmas cakes
Never a Girl Online are generic
Log horizon's characters look fine
their irl bodies
in-game it's way more debatable
they look normal, that's awful in anime I know
oh, totally agree
stylistically, they're actually really nice
but they lose on cutenness

I'm trying to think of other VRMMO series
I forget MMO Junkie completely
I don't even remember them showing her real look
also very possible
at least in the show, maybe they did. It's been a while
yep, I remember almost zero of it
They've show some of Infinite Dendrogram's characters real world bodies
The better vrmmo anime this season
I like Shield Isekai more than I thought I would, since I didn't like the LN
ID is the better story though, for sure
Shield had a great first ep
I couldn't stand it over time, the game world, the plot
oh it's completely retarded
One of the reasons I like ID more is the game world tries to make sense
mostly
I appreciated that they didn't have as many slow episodes as Average Abilities though
which was the isekai last season that completely shot itself in the foot
where they did the same arc THREE FUCKING TIMES
where a character feels unnecessary, leaves, and then through the power of friendship ends up reconciling with the rest of the party
Oh that sounds awful
Average Abilities has the best OP of the year though

www.youtube.comoh this was 2 seasons ago, so last year
oops
I really don't like repeated learning a lesson or personal growth character arcs
people can fall back into bad habbits and such sure. But it ruins all character progression in a show almost always
A good character arc plays itself out over time, and should never the "A plot" of an episode let alone multiple
yeah good arcs take time
Tropes aside, I don't mind "personal growth" as someone's arc, especially if they're a supporting character
the "overcoming impostor syndrome" (for lack of a better description) is the worst for me
I hate in any media, when a character has no confidence, and them gaining confidence (especially quickly) just ruins it for me
I probably didnt type what I meant well. Learning the same lesson over and over and over
