The version I tried on PC over a year ago had MAL integration I think
But I can believe a recent update changed something
I am still waiting on a good PC server/client for normal manga
there's a rally good one for sadpanda
but nothing for normal shit
I'm always suprised by how many manga sites there are
There re a handful of good ones, a handful more of ones which have been around a while
and then a million sketchy, semi-functional ones
which come out of nowhere, and then disappear one day
It's not easy to do though
Batoto deserves a lot of credit, they convinced scanlators to upload to their site
No one else comes close to that level of dominance
(outside of panda)
Mangadex plays ball too much with DMCA
Mangastream and whoever else are cucks
I love Manganelo rn, but I'm sure it'll be gone within a year
Kiss is a meme, though it's not that bad (or wasn't last time I used it)
I don't know how nelo works tbh, I know they were a mirror for Mangakaralot
with how surprisingly tech-literate the weeb community is
I guess I wonder why there isn't some better aggregation for everything
All the scanlators can have their own sites or whatever gay shit they're doing now, but have some way to connect the underlying levels
Torrents wont work though, you'll never get retards to seed like they need to
I say that, but panda is built on the backs of <2000 nodes, to distribute the world's hentai
maybe it could work
You'd need to convince every TLer to distribute their releases with standardized metadata via some sort of RSS or XDCC
which you could probably accomplish
tbh Leg, I'm suprised nobody has
There is no real legal way to buy manga in English, as it releases
Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like paradox is getting enough of a catalog of ongoing releases, translating their back-catalogue
and then not having gay DRM fuck up your official app
A Windows Store app, I hope
I want it right up there with solitaire
I wonder how big the "Western" market would be if it was sufficiently tapped
I think CR gets a vast minority of the potential anime market they could be serving
I think YenPress, LNClub, SevenSeas, and Viz do the bare minimum to capture the physical LN/manga market, and do fuck all on the digital side
LN Club could be amazing, if they didn't borrow the shitty Audible business model
Which is built for 100+hour audiobooks, not 30 minute LN chapters
weeb shit is the one place where I think I'm perhaps too insulated to know what the mainstream Western market would bear
I don't know if the business model in Japan, of hunting "whales" is the way to go about it for America
Americans are massive
whale hunting will work
