I feel like I flip-flop on whether I like open endings or not, every couple years
I've definitely been on both sides of the argument
I think for me, I dislike most open-ended romances, the more vague the ending the worse it is
dramas work better, but then you also have instances where it undoes the suspense, by not having a conclusion

but anyway, for relight, the entire series is a story told by Ryuk, like Gent said

Sally being op in game is because she's good at everything in the real world, which translates over, and she's a hard core GAMER by the dialog + gaming trophy in her room. Its a shitty excuse but my real complaint is how after episode one the pacing going at a break neck speed. There's an allusion to some time passage at least once, but it doesn't feel like it
