A story with evil rich people 😮

a team of high schoolers trapped 500 light years from their home planet, only one serious injury, ending with 1 extra crew member and no deaths. they somehow figure out exactly who tried to assassinate them (and why) while flying home in an abandoned space ship with no way of communicating with anyone back home. Then when they manage to get home everyone believes them and all the bad guys get perfectly arrested with no resistance of any kind including the collapse of the oligarchy and royal family. Everyone in the world know that the children are human clones and no one cares despite that being a horrifying realization.

would have been so much better as a thriller with the main character as the villain, as Max has suggested.

they never make any false hypotheses

there's somehow a world destroying asteroid that was discovered in the past with enough advance notice to find an almost identical planet, invent pocket wormholes, build civilization over there, and transport the entire population of earth through the wormholes

but they couldn't just destroy the asteroid

Instead of just, slowing down/altering course of the asteroid slightly

the show gets worse the farther along it gets

the first episode was the best first episode of the season

so the kids go on survival camp at a known planet and get teleported to the dead earth where there is conveniently a fueled fully functional spaceship from the time of the great teleportation 100 years ago.

so they planet hop back to the new planet and figure out all of the plot with no mistakes on the way

then everyone believes them and loves them and they replace the evil rich people who they are clones of in the same societal role as the people they were clones of, thus fulfilling the goal of the people they are clones of minus the soul transfer
