I never go to the theatres anymore
I used to more often, because there'd be a movie here or there that I'd actually want to see
and it was cheap as hell in college
~10 people per theatre
Saw the Made in Abyss movie
in America
you know, idk
so, the movie aired twice in each theatre
sub then dub
blu-rays are like... $40-$60 bucks each
so it's like 3k BR sales
I know the NGNL:Zero movie, did really well
According to the producers
+$500,000 in the USA
and ~40k disc sales

ngnl was a better anime to make a movie for theatres for
