If you're chasing a cheap degree, you do 2 years of CC, then transfer to a state college

But it all depends on what you really want to do

There are better ways to spend 4 years, that work for a lot of people also

yeah go to trade school and become a plumber

If you want to have more "fun" in college though

Or "find yourself"

Best off finding a 4-year program on a large campus

And experiencing that

Since I was not here when you asked, I did not read throughout my teens/middleschool time, so I'd have to jump back farther for my favorite book. I read a lot of Clifford the big red dog.
