I love the "native isekai" debate
For when people want to find a reason to shit on world building

Literally any fantasy story with game-ish elements

The whole point is "native"

Because the word "fantasy" is foreign to people for some reason
All these series though, you could write a 2 page backstory or 60 second clip for an anime, insert it at the very beginning
And turn the story into an isekai, even if it never comes up again
I think it pokes fun at a lot of stories, for having no real meaningful backstory.
