so FranXX is an amalgamation trying to copy both Evangelion and Gurren Lagan, and has too many characters that don't feel real and only exist to fluff out the story with needless melodrama

and VRIM shows even more clearly that they don't know how to write full stop

i havent seen many other animes, so i dont know about the copying, but i do agree that they have some characters that just serve no purpose.

VIRM was just stupid imo

Evangelion is a classic and its pretty good

i'm just starting Gurren Lagan so i can't recommend it yet
