So (if you've never been to a real race track) the interior portion of the dirt track is a turf track, and within that is the infield On race days(Friday/Saturday), there is live entertainment, so in America you get bands or the like, and in Japan you get a lot of idols or groups. When a horse wins a race (races happen every 20-40 minutes or so) they trot over to the winners circle for photographs and awarding wreaths, and then usually are taken to the infield, and the back to then paddock While in the infield, It is very common for the winning horses to be brought up on stage with the performers or participate in some kind of tack(horses in hats) events.

It's really hard to explain the culture of horse racing, but a lot of people will show up to the track to hear a live concert and get to touch some horses, especially in the Middle East or Japan
