Death March was a bad adaptation, they had to push the harem angle for some reason.
I'm happy we're getting an Overlord S3
Next arc is the best.
What I love, is that no matter how much they adapt, the lizards will never show up again.

Well, main lizard goes traveling again, and he's got 1 chapter to himself in vol 9 or something.
The point of the arc in the novels is to stall for time while the authour lore dumps
But, that was cut. The anime arc was just about the plight of the lizards
The authour is very open that he changes his plans for future novels as he writes.
The lizards ended up not being needed
Funnily enough, Evil-Eye was supposed to be a minor character at first
Did a 180 on that as well.
All the Legend of the Galactic Heroes shows are amazing
Glad this one stands on its own though, easier to recommend to people
prob gonna hold off on picking up shows until after exams
