the main issue i have with this show is its tendency to drop really important hints and then immediately cut to a scene filled with dialog so you can't even process the reveal

and all the twists at the beginning of season 2 are the same as death note part two

So the Tsugumomo mangaka has been streaming himself drawing the manga on YouTube for the last year or so

He is without a doubt the most dedicated person I've ever seen

He draws for 8-10 hours a day, nearly every day

so no matter what happens you can't say it was out of character BECAUSE NO CHARACTER HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED
