it's almost a guarantee in the first two, I think the third one kind of figured out that having to lose your first few generations of digimon to sukamon and numemon was kind of ass cancer

by design the games are made to be like the virtual pets that were popular at the time. which means if you do not expressly care for your digimon with everything they need, they will turn into the poop creatures

no all of the Playstation digimon games are like, deranged

dudes will literally exile a copy of themselves to a null-space beyond time instead of going to therapy
