I always heard the story peaked or was good with The Taken King expansion, but if I wasn't already invested in the game I don't think I'd buy a dlc for it

The story stuff sounds like a mess, but I was never drawn in enough to look too into it.

I missed out on D1 but heard the reworked Light system saved the game later on

Yea Destiny 2s DLC and vaulting practices have always confused me. I've never seen any good coverage for the game, the last thing I saw was banning a pro over Shogun: Total War cheats

Thanks, I wouldn't have known that otherwise and tbh might have skipped 1 and gone right to 2 tbh legorhin if you ever play gen 5, make sure to play BW first and do the game link thing with B2W2 so you get save transfer type stuff and unlock extra story cutscenes

I never experienced the games personally, but was always under the impression that the B/W games were some of the best battle/gameplay wise for the 2D games if not the series
