I've personally not found any discrimination to not having a degree and I've found employers value the experience much higher than that

So I did an apprenticeship in IT instead of going to uni, and its been immensely valuable to have those 4 years of on the job experience instead of gone to uni. Since then I've been able to progress as well, now I'm much more devops/dev rather than sys admin
