there's a few super meta characters, like in any gacha, but there's a lot of characters who fit in to specific fights pretty well, that you can clear things without needing the super meta characters

like for regular normal/hard missions, you really only need to think about damage type. you can even clear them without being the recommended level, as long as you aren't too far beneath it

preferably you fill out a team for each damage type, but how many you need or what kind of skills you need really depends on what kind of content you're trying to clear

Starbound is what i remember chucklefish for

its easier to find consistently good developers than consistently good publishers

like, bandai namco has some really good IP's but also they pump out all those anime fighting games that are all the same thing and just money print off of those brands

some publishers will have really good stuff and really mid/bad stuff its probably really hard to find one that is consistently good a lot of the time

honestly i dont really know any publishers other than the obvious ones like EA/Sony/etc that are all obviously not that good
