It wouldn't be the first anime adaptation I watched that skipped the prologue only to show it 16 episodes into a series as a flashback episode. That would be Deltora Quest.

Whenever people talk of LOGH I get confused about the lack of mention of ax fights . Like are we not mentioning them since they're not part of the pitch, or do we not mention them since we want to look fancy, or that we don't want to ruin the surprise.
