I'm just annoyed at how little you learn about the world in Blue. You don't even learn about TWSiTD at ALL in the route, and they're arguably the main antagonists over Edelgard.

Blue just makes the most sense. Missing Dimitri's freak-out scene over the reveal feels like a major loss in story development.

Red really feels like it was made last. Like, the game was designed with Edelgard as the sole antogonist, and then they were like, ok but what if you could side with her.

Yeah I agree with this. taxes yeah but thats why i prefer how engage handles unique mechanics becuase it feels alot more fun for unique stuff to work on anyone

In my last playthrough, I just used big number weapons. I completely ignored crests.

You can use a different crest weapon, you just don't get some minor bonuses.

Engage was much more interesting mechanically, but a lot of the map designs were questionable and the nigh-unkillable end-game bosses got VERY annoying. I shouldn't have to literally surround an enemy and wait for him to die.
