I don't think I'd buy a gen 5 remake. I didn't buy the gen 4 remakes and I simply don't trust Gamefreak anymore.

I play a lot of competitive on Showdown. It's a pretty large community split into a TON of smaller communities. Like, there's a community for each gen OU, there's a gen for modern LC, for draft leagues, team tours, etc, and a lot of time there's little overlap between communities.
