I'm talking about games where either one, you are fighting them real-time in the overworld, or two, the game is not balanced well.

Oh yeah I really like SMT4A too.
Can you elaborate?
I am not a huge fan of the alternative of map encounters because then I just feel like I'm wasting time kiting them
Most of my favourite games have random encounters, not that I particularly like that part though.
It got remade for the PSP. Persona 1 too
If you were around when Persona 3 came out then you definitely had the opportunity to experience Persona 2 (Innocent Sin, at least)
I can't agree with Persona getting better with each game because imo the Persona 2 games are way better than Persona 3
This is me with most series. I get into the series with a good game, play the other games and realize the newer ones aren't as good, then don't bother with future titles and go back to playing the ones I enjoyed the most.

>Civ 5: 671 hours
>Civ 6: 40 hours
I don't even own Civ 7 and probably won't ever buy it
Yes I agree it's probably not true that accounts have been compromised, but I believe it's better to take precautions.
News outlets have been saying Steam accounts may be compromised.
Potentially very bad. Will back up my list, but I don't like AniList very much so...

and 'backspace' is the only back button
To be more specific, 'enter' is the only confirm button, and 'space' and 'e' are both skip buttons.

I'm playing a game rn that also has very strange controls on keyboard and they can't be remapped. I'm using a DualShock 4, which apparently doesn't have support, but the automatic mapping is much more intuitiv

I think US antitrust efforts against them are progressing
Did you consider something like Dec 31 to Jan 3? Also Feb 28.
For some reason I feel like I'm learning my taste in anime for the first time again. I haven't pushed myself through an older anime I don't like for a long while.
Okay cool
I'm just saying an anime can have no animation and be not bad
Sorry. I assumed the anime wouldn't be bad.
Double-J isn't a bad anime and it has basically no animation too
So true!

I have six too. I will probably only watch two or three during the season, though
I put the songs into one of three tiers. I'm actually going to redo it because there was accidental bias when randomly generating the sample.
Okay, just tested that previous hypothesis and the results say there's no significant difference in my preference by decade.
I wonder if it's more my age or just my taste in music
Is it just me, or do anime from the 2000s decade have generally better OPED songs than ones from the 2020s decade? I have decided to get around to some older anime in my watchlist and they almost all of them are very nice. Meanwhile I drown out and quickly skip ones that are recent or currently airing.
Even if an anime is awful, if it checks someone's boxes I'll throw it out there anyway
Yes I don't think any anime is impossible to recommend. There's always someone who will say something that reminds me of it.
Maybe I should try making one lol. Not using the same anime though as I haven't watched a lot of them.
This would be better as an alignment chart in Tiermaker imo.

For those who don't know, Yakuza: Dragon's Wrath isn't a real game but it got over 70% of the original vote.
's poll Which game is better? has closed.
Saw this poll elsewhere and was wondering if the results will be similar.
Which game is better?
Danganronpa V3
Yakuza: Dragon's Wrath
I hope you're just talking about the anime because the visual novel is great!
Now aside from a couple of scenes, he only uses that persona with his friends. He also doesn't use that persona for nearly all of 0. Meanwhile characters like Rikka Takanashi and Gundam Tanaka use their chuuni personalities pretty much all the time and get criticized for it.

excluding Hououin Kyouma...
It might be funny at first, but then it would get annoying. But I would be too comfortable in the role to give it up
What if I recited copypastas exclusively?
What if every time you used a specific word, I started a long-winded monologue? And if you interrupted me, I would start a different monologue explaining my backstory?
To be fair, I find chuuni anime characters entertaining. But the real world equivalent is pretty sad. You're pretending to be someone you're not or pretending to have abilities you don't and need to make excuses when someone calls you out on it.
When it comes to chuuni characters, there's a fine line between amusing and annoying. Irl I'm sure you would find someone like that annoying.
Guess I should try again. Thanks!
If I remember the main character beats up some thugs under a bridge then monologues to a girl for like 5 minutes
I guess I didn't watch it enough to learn that
The main character just seemed too emo
Wait no I'm misremembering but I did drop Eminence before finishing the first episode
I remember an anime like that and dropped it before finishing the first ep
