Nah, if I was trying to confuse people, I'd look at Gygaxian lingo, grab the anachronistic words out of it, and find synonyms that are even LESS used, so instead of "betoken," I'd use something like "auspicate." Phijkchu_Pikachu if you wanted people to understand you

The only reason I've heard of it is because of reading D&D handbooks from the 70s, and Gary Gygax was using anachronistic language even for the 70s in it.
