That having been said, it's far from abnormal for this persist into late teens, early 20s, especially these days where people believe their opinions and worldviews hold weight because social media is so prevalent and everyone has access to a soapbox of potentially billions of people on their phone in their pocket 24/7.

According to him, it's always been this bad, but up until like two years ago he made sure to re-read what he typed and double checked spellings, then just stopped giving a shit, probably with a bullshit reason like "correct spelling is content > people, we should be people > content and accept however they spell"
