I guess a few days ago an update screwed with my audio drivers, and the driver released today fixed whatever the one that screwed with it fucked up.

All my audio drivers say they're up to date, as well

Headset is a 3.5mm plugged into a USB dongle, because my computer doesn't have a dual stereo/mic 3.5mm jack, and the splitter either works for audio or mic, never both

It happens with both the television and the headset. reorruatrnte have you tried it with different audio devices

It doesn't always happen, and if I jump back to the start I can hear the first second of audio, but it just randomly started happening.
