I think there are two measures
there's how clearly defined a world's magic system is
and whether the influence of magic in the world is increasing/decreasing
so that probably skewed me
I think I was expecting more Dragon's Dogma levels of magic/fantasy

there's clearly magic in the world, but it's primordial and less present in the world
I mean low fantasy in the fantasy sense

they promised to add it back asap, and in the mean time just patched everyone's invintories to be double size
and had to remove it for release
they broke it or something

there is currently no storage chest in the game
it's not buggy, it just has some issues they've already said they have a patch planned for
one or both of you is welcome to play it, but I would kind of say wait for a patch or two
it's not as good Rusp-wise as Dragon's Dogma was
it still could be borderline, but I'd say at minimum to wait a month until they fix some stuff

the game opens on a low-stakes Helm's Deep holdout type setpiece
with over-the-top cuts to every character as they do some epic move or die

there's a lot of RDR2, but it's got Dragons Dogma, Botw/TotK, Genshin, and Witcher 3 in it too
it actually doesn't feel like a copy of any game specifically, to my surprise
in an approachable way
