you might have an issue with the camera, they deny you the ability to freely change the Z-direction and get a more overhead view
where you define the overwatch cone, and it changes their hit%
It has an Overwatch system borrowed from my favorite XCOM game
it's got a fixed protagonist, who isn't bad, he's very Star Wars though
but you do get clone troopers and mercs and such, lots of fodder if you play that way
they wanted to lean into the game having a story
the two issues are, the tutorial treats you like you're a child
and I don't think it benefits from having the Star Wars IP
you/Rusp would like the game
in-between, more on the expendable side
and it has well-done permadeath, you can kill all the story NPCs and the game doesn't do the FE thing and just keep them alive in-base
