doing that fight while underleveled and with a weak weapon because my main one literally cant attack between some of the patterns was one of the hardest things I've done in a while

yeah I haven't seen many enemies that drop more than 1k so it felt like a lot lol

there's two dudes right by the bonfire, I was just resetting and killing them over and over

and I'm using full armor too

also they one/two shot me with 22 vigor

and there's a couple +12 soul pickups in there too

caelid divine tower, absolute bitch to get into but enemies drop like 1.5k souls each taxes wherest
