there's something to be said about the fact that they condensed the entire first season into 3 movies later on and didn't miss a single important story beat lol

as a final note on the whole gundam conversation though, IBO is honestly better seen as a standalone show with the gundam name tucked onto it, it's very different from the rest of the franchise
