you need to test stuff like this, anything really, especially kernel level driver changes. then you should never ever push globally at once. usually you get customers to test qa builds(the ones who have been bugging the team for some fix or something usually), then move on to a release schedule by region. none of this

defender is actually very good edr

actually my university used to use Kaspersky but switched to only defender

smaller companies will just use defender

so like crowdstrike and mcafee on same host, causes lots of issues, defender and crowdstrike dont

defender is also used very heavily in corporate networks, it tends to play the best with other edr solutions

crowdstike is very fancy XDR, which is like the final evolution of antivirus
