jf i am not using it actively, i close it, everything else needs to be in its usable state, either full screen or split screen alongside another window. dont want things stacked on top of eachother either because then you loose stuff behind windows and it takes forever to move things out of the way

i refuse to minimize applications

juggling things that are hidden is annoying, ie minimized windows, so multi desktops is a must. and having multi moniotrs makes it very hard to keep track of which desktops are where and which monitors are for which desktops
