yeah experience with computer science concepts cak make a big difference

i had already had decent scripting experience with bash and such. but doing advant of code and just using google/stackoverflow/w3school to learn whatever was beibg asked got me pretty good at python pretty fast

ftc is kinda the feeder, middle school version of the more well known frc. although doibg googling now, seems like the changed it so ftc is 7th through 12th grade, when we did it it was 6th through 8th

we used those kits for prototyping, some folks on the team had experience with it from doing first lego in elementary school
