I use caps lock to do caps

Its more comfortable for my pinkie to hit that then hold left shift

and many games use it as a toggle for certain things

I use caps lock if I'm going to be typing in caps and using numbers or some symbols; inconvenient to release shift to type ' instead of ", or , instead of <.

i used to use caps lock all the time before i had to use a keyboard with left shift rebound to caps lock (left shift was dead) ever since then i lost the muscle memory of using caps lock even though i have one that works now
