I miss the days where we would comb through campaigns to find a hint of a timeline connection rather than it being explicitly stated "this happened here"
I am a bit of a disagree - I really enjoyed the Lyn Azveltara story. I liked the dissonance that came from "hahaha funny sexy anime campaign :)))" into "oh yeah these are assassin's and we're watching them brutally murder civilians"
I am sure the Wiki people were exhausted, especially given the stuff jack ironhide posted about how uncooperative Rob was with them
Eh. It was compelling enough for its own reasons. Personally found enjoyment from specific characters and watching them evolve.
Like, Galen being one of the only actively enjoyable meta characters in the entire show, for his response being "y'all are fucked up what the hell"
Rob yelled at us for putting a companion's name on the wiki, which was aparently an Italian slur (I'm Italian and never heard it in my life) when none of us even put it onto the wiki in the first place
I don't think he apologized
I think it was the Dog during the Lightbeards campaign or something
I like that Rob got mad at the trap thing because "lmao trap is a trans slur" even though its not
Both the ageless plot and "meta" plots became super fuckin bad over time
Replying to heir #hyrrulfr imagine watching urealms for the plot
The majority of the fans, at least from the Unforgotten Realms days, probably did watch URealms Live for the plot. Hell, those of us who backed Unforgotten Quest were naive enough to believe the Kickstarter video where he said it'll start out as just funny little quests and playing to get loot, but that you'd get sucked into the story and the world while playing
no, we have to go back to season 1 posting
philepe is the only good character
When philepe's not on screen, everyone should be asking: Where's philepe?
Fandom obsession with philepe was genuinely hilarious
I'm sad that Philhipe Campaign or the Porbo one didn't pan out
Yeah same, it had a lot of weird to it but it was very fun
Replying to sudo TPK #sylfar I honestly thought Many Gobos of Pat was really funny, was annoyed when it was stricken from canon
Gobos was better than every single season 3 campaign
Goblin's have to be hated by anyone didn't you know
there can be no exception to the rule
Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak Gobos was better than every single season 3 campaign
I would agree except for Deadlantis.
good worldbuilding 👍

counterpoint: lawyer shitposting was hilarious
deadlantis second half was weaker iirc
I really liked the first half
I might be misremembering
deadlantis is the only S3 campaign I would call good though
Yeah, Coestar really didn't shine in the second half.
Feels like he was barely there.
Campaign 1 was just ruined by the end where Rob snubbed Roamins strategies that he even rolled a 10 for
and made it do way less than it should have
campaign 3 was the worst pre death of urealms live Rob content I had ever seen
It was mostly just voting and presenting random laws
I don't remember campaign 4, and I never watched 5+ because Rob sent me that reddit dm telling me to "get lost due" so I just stopped watching him
Something I'm realizing to this day of my writing is how much URealms class design has rubbed off on me
So dunceparse, it was because Rob is stupid
Replying to sudo TPK #sylfar I was salty about Rob nixing Justin's divine decision choice for ages. I know Justin wasn't supposed to vote because he had a ton more voting power than anyone else, but Rob was the one who gave his account all that voting power. What's the point of that except to cheat the system? (edited)
It was a "cast and crew aren't supposed to vote at all" thing
Which I can agree with
the point was because he wanted to not code a new thing, the special staff thing was tied to being level 1 million
