I hate that things need to be voiced now
Nintendo games esp really don't need to be voiced
it's bing bing wahoo for a reason
I think them doing a voiced music track every game is kind of novel, and kirby's use of having actual VA work was kind of cool so I give it a pass
but these games do not need voices

I do not think voice acting improves pokemon
it would, but Pokemon needs to evolve in 5 different ways as a franchise already

Didn't they already remove a fair amount of that stuff between N64 and the gamecube/etc later releases
There is a lot of horrific gross stuff in OoT that will be insane with the art style they showed
They removed most references to blood, and changed the blood from Ganon/dorf from red to green, as early as the 1.1 release on N64
As well as changed the music in the Fire Temple
idk if I can think of a modern game that has ever done stomach/flesh room levels that are "gross"
And removed all islamic symbolism from the 1.2 revision
And all later rereleases are based on 1.2

nintendo is too safe to make OOT really lean into that and make a unique horrory zelda
I think it's a real stretch to call Ocarina "horrory"
I think people say similar stuff about Majora too
I think horror is wrong, eerie is mor accurate
and only some parts
Bottom of the Well and maybe Shadow Temple are the only places I can think that really would benefit from higher creepiness
Destroyed Castle Town is more of a thing about fleshing out how bad it got fucked up
I do feel like the next Zelda we get will be a water Zelda
